We are interested in the first instance the accreditation of reporters, then Google News would be discussed here in the community. Now I have a question about Google News Is indexing the news published here in Google News or something? According to the news coming out I posted here are indexed in Google News. Thanks again for your message -'''[[Usuario:MadriCR|''MadriCR]]''' [[Usuario Discusión:MadriCR|<font color="Red">'''(Discusión)'''</font>]] 14:32 21 dic 2011 (UTC)
: Interestingly, I do indeed see es.wikinews being indexed by Google News. Have you implemented some sort of peer-review process prior to publication of articles? That is usually a requirement for a listing in Google News&mdash;otherwise articles on-wiki are classed much the same as blog content.
: The enWN mechanism to have peer-review involves use of Flagged Revisions, and if you check the RSS feed on our main page you will see there have been additional developments on top of DPL which now allows direct output of feeds without relying on the tool server.
: Regarding accreditation, the Foundation itself cannot be involved with that. On enWN we implemented a process for established contributors to request community accreditation. Following successfully being granted that due to editorial liability concerns. For us on enWN, users are given an email address on the @wikinewsie.org domain and, at own expense, can have business cards printed up.
